You may experience problems in Windows Explorer or in the Windows shell after you install security update MS06-015 :: I've had to fix problems where Microsoft Word would not 'save' a file and ended up 'Not Responding'. This particular problem came about due to the MS update in the link above and having HP Share-to-web software installed.

To resolve the problem temporarily, rename the file verclsid.exe which is found in your C:\Windows\System32 folder. You will have to 'end task' on the file in Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) first.

The new window that you open in Internet Explorer displays a blank white page :: I had to register the files mentioned in the above link to get this fixed.

The Explorer.exe process may unexpectedly quit when you try to search for a file in Windows XP or in Windows Server 2003 :: This happened on my pc when I had installed the Windows 2000 Resource Kit.

The computer may automatically restart, or you may receive a "serious error" message or a Stop error message in Windows Server 2003, in Windows XP, or in Windows 2000 :: This is some nasty rootkit spyware - just read the above article for more information.
