THE 'TITLE' OF YOUR PAGE

The TITLE of a web page is the bit you see at the top of the Internet Browser you are using like in the image below:

The HTML code for that is found near the top of the HTML code and looks like this:

Notice I said 'page' not pages. Each page should have its own TITLE because each page (in theory) should be about a different topic, service or product.

If you have considered the KEYWORDS for your page, then this should be reflected in the TITLE of the page. Looking at our example above one of our KEYWORD phrases is 'computer support plymouth' and we have a certain amount of success with that too.

The number of characters in the TITLE is important too so choose it carefully. If you have any more than 95 characters, Internet Explorer will crop or cut your TITLE tag and Google will only display 66 characters.
